ASPCA's Role:
The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) officially recognizes April as Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month.
Raising Awareness:
The goal is to raise awareness about the mistreatment of animals and encourage people to take action to prevent cruelty.
How to Get Involved:
You can participate by utilizing social media, adopting a shelter animal, partnering with organizations advocating for change, starting or donating to fundraising campaigns, reporting neglect and abuse, volunteering at local animal shelters, or lobbying for change.

The MSPCA-Angell also recognizes April as Animal Cruelty Prevention Month.
World Animal Month:
October is celebrated as World Animal Month in over 80 countries, which aims to bring attention to and increase appreciation of animals.
